In Episode SH059 of Star Hopping…
Dave makes some big announcements you shouldn’t miss, and then he takes us through a Full Dress Rehearsal to prepare and test his solar photography equipment, for next month’s big Solar Eclipse!
Intro
So I have a couple of announcements to make that I want to share with you all.
The first is a big one. Some of you may know that I have been working on my new book: “A Year of Star Hopping”. Recently I’ve been putting the final touches on it, and in its completed state, it’s tipping the scales at over 330 pages and just over 42,000 words. It covers an entire year from the Star Hopping show, (hence the name) but I have heavily re-written the scripts and have added lots of new content, an there are hundreds of full color deep sky images. There will be both an eBook version and a paperback version, both of which will be available on Amazon, the Apple iTunes store, and on the Digital Store at StarHopping.org.
The exciting news is I now have a launch date! The book will be coming out on Monday, August 28th. Yes, that’s one week after the big solar eclipse – more coming later about that!
I’m in the process of finalizing the formatting. The eBook layout has been tough going to make everything flow properly. Once that effort is completed, I’ll submit the book to the publisher: Ingram-Spark.
So on or before launch day, I would love to get some help to get some good reviews on Amazon. Here’s my deal: For a 5 star review and a nice paragraph on Amazon, I’ll give a copy of the eBook and a signed copy of the paperback, for only the cost of the shipping.
